Position Overview

Buzzer is a new mobile-only platform that provides curated short-form access to live sports content so fans never have to miss a moment. We are seeking a motivated Senior Brand Creative to work collaboratively with the Head of Creative to establish and execute the Buzzer visual brand through still graphic & motion assets.The ideal candidate is a creative generalist who is passionate about clean, modern & forward thinking design. You are opportunity oriented, self-motivated & proactive. You prioritize details and have an extremely strong sense of design sensibilities, from high-level strategic direction to production details.Responsibilities of this role include:

  • Create/design still & motion assets for social media and paid marketing campaigns.
  • Ideate and create branded collateral for influencers/investors/etc. such as merchandise
  • Create branded assets for business/partner purposes
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Social, Partnerships & Product to ensure the Buzzer brand is used properly and teams have the guidelines they need.
  • Incorporate league/partner guidelines into your creative process
  • Proactively assess company design needs & take initiative to improve past creative assets/develop new ones.
  • Concept & create designs for a variety of brand initiatives including an upcoming brand refresh, brand campaigns, performance marketing, social, video, web, and much more.
  • Breakdown of responsibilities will align closely with the following:
  • 60% static brand design
  • 25% video/motion design
  • 15% brand strategy & positioning

Buzzer is presently a fully distributed company, which will require this individual to be collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working remotely. You will report directly to Emily Johnson–the Head of Creative– as well as work very closely and collaboratively with Marketing, Product & Social.Required Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of design experience, preferably within sports and/ or tech
  • Experience working in Figma or willingness to learn
  • Experience working in Photoshop
  • Experience creating video and motion graphics
  • Are a conceptual and strategic designer who can bring ideas to life with a high level of craft

Buzzer is proud to share that our first product was the Strive Mentorship program, a global mentorship program connecting over 500 industry professionals with over 500 Black college students predominantly from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and other universities. This mentorship program ultimately inspired the Strive initiative and represents our ambitions to lead by doing the right thing for our potential customers, partners, and employees.
