Senior Account Manager – North America Ice Hockey Division

The Opportunity

Our client, a leader in sports technology and proven partner of many top US collegiate conferences, is expanding its North American presence and looking for a Senior Account Manager to help lead growth in the ice hockey vertical. This is a relationship-driven role. 

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle: from lead generation and qualification to demo, negotiation, and close.
• Sell to elite hockey organizations including college programs, junior leagues, academies, and professional clubs across North America.
• Deliver tailored product presentations that align with the needs of hockey coaches, operations staff, and decision-makers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing to build campaigns, and with customer success to ensure seamless post-sale transitions.
• Track your pipeline and forecast accurately using CRM tools. 
• Represent the company at key events, showcases, tournaments, and conferences.
  
  

Experience

• 3–5+ years of B2B SaaS or sports tech sales experience, preferably selling into the sports industry or athletic departments.
• Deep knowledge of ice hockey—either as a former player, coach, or long-time industry professional. Strong understanding of North American hockey including youth, collegiate (NCAA), junior, and professional levels.
• Proven success managing a sales pipeline, closing deals, and exceeding quota.  Outstanding communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, and collaborative environment.
  Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field  
• Experience as a former athlete or coach is nice to have.
