Overview /Objective

The NFL is seeking an experienced live event operations professional for a full-time opportunity with the Leagues’ Fan Experiences and Hospitality team. The role is across NFL tentpole events including the Super Bowl and NFL Draft and will support on all other League events (Pro Bowl, Hall of Fame, International Series games and emerging events).The ideal candidate will have knowledge of large-scale event management and will be highly skilled in logistical planning including management of multiple simultaneous project management. Additionally, the candidate has experience working in a matrixed organization with a proven track record of working cross-functionally along with strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of the NFL’s major events including but not limited to, venue and facility management, vendor management, production, budgeting, site operations, transportation, wayfinding, programming, and logistical planning and execution.
  • Take leadership role in core elements of the event as assigned.
  • Develop and manage event master schedules.
  • Ensure smooth operations for the NFL’s key constituent groups including but not limited to participating teams, team ownership, partners, media, broadcast, fans, players, and staff.
  • Coordinate with all internal NFL Departments to ensure onsite needs are met.
  • Develop programming for youth activations including FLAG development at tentpole events
  • Lead innovation efforts to engage new technologies and platforms to evolve event experiences.
  • Liaise with the NFL Security Department to develop and implement security overlay.
  • Liaise with NFL marketing and creative to develop creative overlay and marketing materials for NFL tentpole events.
  • Develop and manage production budgets.
  • Develop and deliver visually appealing, persuasive, and effective presentation materials.
  • Ability to present clearly to cross organizational group on a regular basis.
  • Provide operational support across ancillary events as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of major event production or operations experience.
  • Venue management and logistics planning.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to lead others and collaborate with a variety of groups at different levels.
  • Experience managing production budgets.
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills including media availability.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Proactive self-starter who works well within a team, strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on advancing plans.

Physical Demands

  • This is a live event production role and, at times, will require physicality. This could involve lifting, moving heavy objects, extended periods outdoors in inclement weather, long hours of physical movement during show production, extensive travel requirements, site builds and adjustment of physical assets.

Travel

  • Significant travel required, up to 40%

Salary / Pay Range

  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.
  • This role requires work on nights and weekends depending on event schedule and time of year.
